Kaliningrad Amber Factory showed a new clothing line at the festival of Russian designers in China. A special collection was created for the show, in which amber is used as a decorative element, and visual solutions are inspired by Chinese national motifs.
The designers have reworked traditional patterns and symbols, turning them into amber ornaments. Thus, the stone became a part not only of jewelry, but also of the costume itself — it was integrated into the decoration elements, emphasizing the combination of cultures and processing technologies of the material.
The collection includes 15 images, for which about three kilograms of amber were used. The stone was used in details, from buttons to accessories. The centerpiece was an evening dress decorated with more than a thousand amber inserts, fixed by hand.
