The authorities and representatives of the Russian aviation industry are negotiating the launch of direct flights between China and Sochi. Work in this direction has already begun, and the main focus is on the development of the tourist flow.
Sochi is considered as a promising destination for Chinese tourists due to its year-round attractiveness. The resort offers both seaside holidays in summer and ski infrastructure in winter, which makes it in demand in different seasons.
It is expected that the expansion of the route network and the involvement of foreign air carriers will increase the tourist flow. It is estimated that by 2030 the number of tourists visiting Sochi could reach 10 million people.
