The authorities of the special administrative Region of China rely on the development of international academic relations, including cooperation with Russia. Hong Kong considers education as a strategic direction and strives to attract the world's leading universities.
The key project in this area will be the Northern Metropolis university cluster, where it is planned to create campuses of foreign universities and develop scientific research. At the same time, the authorities are preparing new initiatives aimed at attracting international students and scientists, especially in the field of science and technology.
Hong Kong universities are already building partnerships with Russian educational institutions. In particular, the launch of new educational programs with international participation should promote academic exchange and strengthen long-term ties between countries.
