The filming, according to the regional authorities, became an opportunity to introduce the Murmansk region to a multi-million Chinese audience. The project covers about 500 million viewers and is considered as a tool to promote the region as a tourist destination.
The authorities note that tourism remains an important part of the region's economy and shows annual growth. It is expected that interest in the Kola Arctic will continue to increase, and the tourist flow in the coming years may reach 1 million people.
