The competition became a large-scale platform where young researchers not only studied the past, but also rethought it, passing it through personal experience.
More than 4,000 works from representatives of 84 regions of Russia and 5 foreign countries (Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Transnistria and Turkey) were submitted for participation in the competition. In total, the coverage of the children involved in the project, their creative mentors, teachers and experts exceeded 12 thousand specialists.
During the preparation stage, each young contestant chose a term from a history textbook that interested him, studied its meaning with the help of dictionaries and created a unique story, presenting himself as a direct participant in historical events of the past. Thanks to the efforts of the participants, complex concepts and dates have turned into fascinating presentation pages, informative videos and vivid drawings that can be used by teachers in history lessons. The best works are presented at the virtual exhibition https://youthy.ru/virtualnaya-vystavka /, are used in the campaign "The History of Russia through my eyes" and are exhibited at major government venues.
The winners and laureates were 45 talented children, teenagers and adults from 27 Russian regions. Among them there are representatives of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (Zheleznogorsk – Rogulev Egor, Krasnoyarsk – Skuratov Alexander).
The award ceremony was attended by 600 guests – government and public figures, senators and ministers, heads of leading Russian universities, mass media, organizations of patriotic education of youth, representatives of cultural intelligentsia and business circles, winners and participants of the competition.
