600

The authorities of the Chinese province of Hainan are planning to increase the number of direct flights from Russian cities amid growing tourist demand.

According to the relevant department, the region intends to cooperate more actively with the Russian aviation authorities and airlines in order to open new routes and increase the frequency of existing flights. The goal is to make flights more accessible and convenient for Russian tourists.

Currently, Hainan is connected by direct flights to 11 Russian cities, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Vladivostok, with a total of about 28 flights per week. The authorities expect that the expansion of the route network will increase the tourist flow and simplify the logistics of trips.

At the same time, the region is working to improve conditions for guests from Russia: the system of combined flights is developing, the tourist offer is expanding, convenient hotel check-in formats are being introduced and the level of service is increasing, including through the training of Russian-speaking staff.
